Background
We are the genomics service group of the MRC Toxicology unit.
We are a small dedicated team of genomics and bioinformatics scientists.
We hope to act as a complete, integrated, genomics and bioinformatics anaysis service within (and externally) from unit .
We run:
Two complimentary sequencers, each with a dedicated support scientists:
1) LifeTechnologies SOLiDv4
2) LifeTechnologies Ion Torrent PGM
The Agilent technologies array system, again with a dedicated support scientist
We support these with:
Three dedicated bioinformatics support staff trained in the analysis of this data.
